First time parasailing at Belmar Parasail located in the Belmar Marina (Shark River Inlet) in NJ. The cost is $75 (plus $25 if you want the photo packet which includes a memory card with the pictures) and the length of the boat ride is an hour and fifteen minutes (from loading to unloading). The time you are up in the air is around 14 to 15 minutes and you are about 300 feet high (they let out 500 feet of rope). Amazing experience and awesome views, and at the end they dunk you a little into the ocean (you get to tell them how wet you want to get). About 12 people can go per boat ride (you can also just do the boat ride without parasailing for I think $20, and the boat ride is fun in itself while the other people are taking their turns in the air) and they do about 7 to 8 rides a day. They also have a banana boat ride. Belmar Parasail is open seasonally from around Memorial Day in May to a few weeks into September.
